San Francisco is known as the city by the bay, and there are a lot of really cool things to see there. I got to visit in January of this year, and after a day, and about 10 hours of walking, I feel like I got a glimpse of what the city has to offer.
When we first got into town, we parked at Union Square and walked to find some coffee. We stopped at the famous Philz and enjoyed some warmed drinks on the gloomy and misty day.
We then walked down to the piers, said hi to the birds, and eventually reached Pier 39 and got to see some sea lions.
A little bit of walking later and we reached Fisherman's Wharf, then Ghirardelli Square, where we got some hot chocolate!
We finished up our walkthrough SanFranciso by touring the colorful streets and hills. We definitely felt the hills by the end...
Once we made it back to the car, we drove down Lombard Street and picked up the famous Clam Chowder in a bread bowl from Boudin and went to a park by Fort Point under the Golden Gate Bridge to dine.
The Chowder was so good! We then went on a drive across the bridge, took some photos up close, and headed out of town through the mountains.
So, so for the adventure, stay for the chowder, and never forget to dillydally!
